Nexla is the data layer for enterprise AI, processing over a trillion records monthly for customers including DoorDash, LinkedIn, Johnson & Johnson, Instacart, and LiveRamp. The company is remote-first, founded in 2016, and headquartered in San Mateo.
You will own Nexla's digital presence end-to-end: SEO, paid advertising, website funnel optimization, marketing automation, and content strategy. Your audience includes data engineers, IT leaders, and enterprise decision-makers, requiring deep understanding of data integration alongside marketing channel expertise. You will be part of a global team, setting strategy and executing it yourself with AI tooling integrated throughout your work.
Key responsibilities:
- Organic visibility: SEO strategy, technical implementation, and content creation for data integration and AI keywords
- Paid and account-based marketing: Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads from audience targeting through creative execution, plus enterprise ABM programs
- Funnel optimization: Website performance analysis, user behavior tracking, marketing automation workflows, lead scoring, and channel attribution reporting
- Content engine: Blogs, whitepapers, case studies, social content (LinkedIn and X), video scripts, and webinar materials—technical enough for data engineers, clear enough for executives
Within 90 days, you will have revamped inbound traffic and conversions to increase demo requests and improve conversion rates. The core challenge is transforming the website into a consistent organic lead engine by aligning top topics with required content and optimizing for SEO/AEO to drive qualified traffic and engagement.

- Brand, email, and website optimization experience
- Strong written English and solid grasp of B2B marketing and enterprise sales cycles
- Active use of AI tools in your work with specific understanding of where they help and where they mislead
NICE TO HAVE:
- Paid campaign experience on Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads (audience targeting and creative)
- SaaS, data technology, or enterprise software marketing background, or working knowledge of data integration, analytics, AI/ML concepts
- Marketing attribution and revenue operations experience
- Design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) or video creation/editing skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
