You will join the iHub team, a world-leading engineering group designing and developing features for a world-class analytics platform. This is an exciting stage with extensive innovative work underway and a compelling vision to execute.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and integrate new capabilities into the analytics platform alongside talented engineers
- Develop applications providing insights for trading data (order entry, market data, etc.)
- Apply best-practice CI/CD methodologies to build high-performance, secure, deployable, and maintainable systems
- Develop innovative analytics solutions combining financial services and network data
- Act as a domain expert to advise and troubleshoot production deployments
- Collaborate with the Machine Learning team to integrate new algorithms into the platform
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Java and Python
- Proficiency in automated unit testing and integration testing
- Understanding of writing maintainable, modular code conforming to coding standards
- Knowledge of building high-availability and high-performance systems
- Passion for technology, design, and quality with demonstrated ability to write high-quality code with appropriate testing
Desirable skills include database design and SQL, experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Druid, Presto), RESTful web services, in-memory solutions, real-time/streaming and batch processing concepts, distributed systems development, financial services knowledge, and SDLC proficiency (Waterfall, Agile, Kanban).
This is a hybrid role based in Krakow with weekly office time and work-from-home flexibility. Travel may be required occasionally to support multiple geographies (EMEA, USA, APAC). The role involves working across multiple time zones and jurisdictions.
