Chime is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join the Human Agent Tooling team, which builds the software platform that powers Chime's customer support operations. This team is responsible for the agent workspace, case management systems, member context surfacing, and access controls that enable support agents to resolve customer issues quickly and safely. In this role, you will contribute across multiple areas: building the agent workspace interface where agents view member context and manage cases; developing systems that aggregate and surface the right member information at the right time; implementing access controls and safety guardrails that govern what actions agents can take on member accounts; maintaining integrations between agent tooling and other Chime systems; and adding observability through logging, monitoring, and dashboards. The team's mission is to make every human support interaction faster, safer, and more effective. Success is measured by both agent efficiency (fewer clicks to resolve) and member satisfaction (better answers). The company is investing heavily in modernizing the agent experience, building more granular access controls, and improving system connectivity. You should have roughly 1+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent through internships and projects), exposure to Ruby on Rails or comparable web frameworks, familiarity with database work, and an appreciation for maintainable, well-tested code. A strong desire to learn, curiosity about how systems work, and interest in the people who use your tools are valued. Chime is a fintech company (not a bank) focused on making core banking services helpful, easy, and free. The company has helped millions of members achieve financial progress through user-friendly tools and intuitive platforms.
