You'll join the Enterprise Scale team, which owns the stability and reliability of Scribe's core platform functionality across a diverse technology stack. This role is a full-stack position where you'll build and ship features spanning Django backend and NextJS frontend, working closely with fellow engineers and user advocates to shape the overall platform experience.
Key responsibilities include owning platform stability and reliability, building full-stack features across Django and NextJS, collaborating cross-functionally to improve user experience, writing automated tests and advocating for testing best practices, and working across the entire stack including PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery for background processing.
You'll need 3+ years of engineering experience with demonstrated comfort in Django and relational databases, React/NextJS with TypeScript, and a strong commitment to automated testing and engineering best practices. Nice-to-have skills include experience with enterprise features (SSO/SAML, SCIM, RBAC, audit logs), Celery background task execution, high-load systems, and startup environments.
The role is remote with a permanent base in Serbia. In-office access to the Belgrade office is encouraged but optional. Compensation includes full-time employment with equity, health/dental/vision insurance, flexible PTO, 401(k), paid parental leave, and home office stipend.
