You'll join the engineering team building Zeelo's next-generation transportation platform—a modular, event-driven system designed for scale, reliability, and speed. This is a full stack role where you'll work across frontend and backend systems to create elegant solutions that move thousands of riders daily.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building event-driven services using Node.js or Bun, AWS Lambda, SQS, and EventBridge
- Designing and maintaining clean APIs (REST/tRPC/GraphQL) with full type safety
- Developing rich web interfaces with React, TanStack Query, and state management libraries (Zustand or MobX)
- Implementing infrastructure-as-code using Pulumi and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Writing automated tests and championing code quality, performance, and observability
You should have deep TypeScript expertise and modern Node.js experience, strong frontend skills in React and component architecture, and practical understanding of AWS serverless and event-driven design patterns. Experience with monorepos (Turborepo/Nx) and modern build tools (Vite/Turbopack) is valuable. The ideal candidate has 5+ years building and shipping software products end-to-end and is passionate about clean, maintainable code and collaborative learning.
