Wintermute is one of the largest crypto-native algorithmic trading companies in digital assets. The company provides liquidity across cryptocurrency exchanges, OTC trading solutions, and supports blockchain projects and traditional financial institutions entering crypto. Founded in 2017, Wintermute combines high-frequency trading standards with startup innovation culture.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will develop end-to-end applications for Wintermute's new trading products, client-facing portals, and internal trading applications. You'll own features across the entire stack: designing and implementing backend services and APIs, modeling and exposing trading and market data, and building frontends. This is an opportunity to create and drive the vision for a platform from scratch while owning the customer experience across multiple lifecycle stages.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing scalable backend services and APIs for trading applications
- Building user-facing frontends for traders and clients
- Modeling and exposing trading and market data
- Contributing to oversight and project management of corporate website frontend development
- Collaborating closely with product, marketing, trading, and engineering teams
You'll gain independence and responsibility immediately, with mentorship from experienced developers and traders. The role offers exposure to high-performance scalable systems, broader system architecture, and algorithmic cryptocurrency trading. Experience from personal or work-related projects is valued, and interest in algorithmic trading is a plus.
