Intriq is building a platform that transforms disorganized financial data rooms into deal-ready insights for accounting and audit teams. The platform processes financial documents at machine speed while maintaining human-level rigor, using only client data with no external sources.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will build the core platform across three repositories: QNextDash (React frontend), QInsights (FastAPI backend and async pipelines), and QCLI (internal tooling). You'll ship features end-to-end rather than specializing in a single layer, working directly with the founding team to shape architecture as the platform scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building across the full stack: Next.js interfaces, FastAPI endpoints, and PostgreSQL schemas
- Designing and hardening async workflows for document ingestion, markdown conversion, LLM-based extraction, and multi-step review pipelines that handle concurrency and partial failure
- Owning services from infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) through deployment and monitoring (CloudWatch)
- Working directly with data: designing Postgres schemas, writing performant queries, and ensuring all pipeline outputs are traceable to source documents
- Making architectural decisions with the founding team in a small, flat organization
Required skills:
- Proven full-stack experience: comfortable moving between React/TypeScript frontend, Python API, and database layers
- Strong TypeScript and Python with production FastAPI or comparable async framework experience
- Real experience designing async workflows, APIs, and reasoning about concurrency, retries, and partial failure
- Solid PostgreSQL knowledge: schema design, query performance, migrations
- Microservices architecture understanding and trade-offs
- Data engineering or ML exposure: building/consuming data pipelines, LLM-based extraction, model-dependent features
- DevOps fluency: CI/CD, AWS (Fargate, Lambda, Terraform), Docker, GitHub Actions
- Startup mindset: small team, direct ownership, fast iteration, bias toward action
Tech stack: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, TanStack Query, Zustand, Tailwind, FastAPI, Pydantic v2, asyncpg, PostgreSQL 17, AWS Lambda, Bedrock, Claude, AWS Fargate, Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions, CloudWatch, Cognito.
Bonus qualifications: fintech/audit/accounting software experience, security and compliance knowledge for AI systems, Spanish and English fluency (Portuguese a plus).
The team is distributed and works to US hours with overlap expected. You'll ship in your first week and own production surface within your first month. The company is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified.
