cside is a web security company leveraging browser intelligence and AI to detect sophisticated threats that traditional tools miss. The company processes billions of raw browser signals to identify malicious JavaScript executions, prevent account takeovers, and stop fraudulent account creations. Backed by $7.7M in pre-seed and seed funding, cside is trusted by major brands across universities, e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, crypto, and travel sectors.
As a Full-Stack Developer, you'll build the product surface that transforms complex browser security data into actionable intelligence for security engineers. You'll own features end-to-end: from designing and implementing high-volume, low-latency APIs to building the dashboard interface that customers use daily.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and shipping features across the full stack (React frontend, Node.js backend)
- Designing APIs that handle high-volume security telemetry with low latency
- Working with real-time data pipelines to surface detections clearly without overwhelming users
- Translating complex security signals into intuitive interfaces that make the right action obvious
- Owning features completely: design, implementation, testing, shipping, measurement, and iteration
- Improving performance and reliability of systems processing signals at scale
- Contributing to code review, technical design, and engineering standards
- Partnering with product and security research teams to move detections from prototype to production
You bring 4+ years of production web application experience with real ownership of shipped work. You're strong in TypeScript across both frontend and backend, with experience in real-time or high-volume data systems. You have an instinct for performance bottlenecks and can diagnose why systems are slow. You're comfortable with ambiguity, scope your own work, and ship without waiting for direction. You write clearly in code, reviews, and design docs. While you don't need to be a security expert, you have genuine interest in web security and want to develop expertise. You're based in the US with authorization to work, maintain at least 4 hours daily overlap with US Pacific time, and are willing to travel for 2-3 company offsites annually.
cside offers quarterly offsites in tropical locations, generous work-from-home allowance, latest MacBook, stock options, market-rate seed-stage salary, and unlimited PTO. The team is invested in your long-term career development.
