Stark Bank is a digital banking platform for companies, founded in 2018, offering payment processing, invoice management, and accounts receivable solutions through a robust API. The company is building Brazil's leading fintech banking ecosystem and seeks a Frontend/Full Stack Specialist Engineer to join their team in São Paulo.
In this role, you will translate business requirements and design into high-quality code using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks). You'll develop responsive, optimized user interfaces for desktops, tablets, and smartphones across multiple browsers, ensuring consistent experiences. You'll collaborate closely with the design team to transform visual concepts and wireframes into interactive interfaces aligned with company branding.
Key responsibilities include integrating APIs and backend services, implementing secure authentication layers, developing and maintaining institutional websites, and actively participating in Internet Banking platform development. You'll conduct usability testing, ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, and collaborate with backend and product teams to ensure effective UI integration with business logic. You'll participate in code reviews, contribute to internal framework component documentation, and help identify and resolve frontend issues.
The role offers opportunities to work on a component foundation system, contribute to micro-frontend architecture, and mentor other developers through documentation and code review feedback.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of visual design principles and experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch)
- Deep knowledge of UX/UI best practices, responsive design, and adaptive design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills for identifying and fixing UI issues
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with developers, designers, Product Owners, and stakeholders
- Technical curiosity and critical thinking for innovative solutions
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery
- Intermediate English (reading, writing, conversation)
Differentiators:
- Experience developing native mobile apps using Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android)
- Experience with UIKit for component building
- Knowledge of or experience with micro-frontend architecture
