As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Website Team, you will own and build the public-facing digital experiences that drive business growth for millions of small business owners. This role sits at the intersection of high-scale engineering, product design, and growth marketing, requiring deep expertise in modern frontend technologies and web performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and scale high-performance web experiences using React/NextJS and modern frontend standards
- Own web performance optimization, monitoring Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, TBT) to ensure excellent UX and SEO performance
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Data teams to build tools for SEM campaigns, custom tracking, and conversion optimization
- Lead features end-to-end: technical scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring
- Evolve CMS architecture, design systems, and frontend toolchains to maintain team productivity and system health
- Advocate for code quality, automated testing best practices, and mentor team members
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years hands-on experience in full-stack/frontend high-scale production web environments
- Advanced proficiency in React (or modern JS frameworks), TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Git, and SDK/API integration
- Proven experience optimizing Core Web Vitals, web performance tuning, and technical SEO strategies
- Familiarity with backend/server concepts, data structuring, modern CMS architecture
- Strong experience with automated testing frameworks (Unit, Integration, E2E)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Jenkins, Terraform)
- Mandatory hands-on experience with AI-assisted agentic development workflows (Cursor, Claude)
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong team player with high ownership, self-learning capabilities, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
