In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of frontend development for Addi's Marketplace, building world-class user interfaces for features including search and filters, favorites, shopping cart, and order management across mobile and web platforms. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and product owners to create seamless, high-performing user experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and developing user interfaces that balance usability, maintainability, and performance
- Daily development using the frontend stack: TypeScript, Storybook, React, and React Native
- Taking ownership of code from design through testing to production deployment
- Conducting daily pull request reviews and knowledge transfer with team members
- Deploying features to production using CI/CD pipelines
- Contributing to Architecture Decision Records and proposing new techniques and patterns
- Occasional on-call rotation to distribute knowledge across the team
- Mentoring and receiving mentorship from team members at all levels

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience (seniority adjusted accordingly)
- Proven experience building mobile applications with React Native (required)
- Strong expertise in building user interfaces with well-structured HTML and CSS
- Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tools
- Great communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to work with distributed teams
- Good foundations in UX/UI design
- Awareness of web performance optimization techniques
