As a Frontend Engineer IC2, you will build and maintain user interfaces using modern technologies including React JS, React Native, and TypeScript. Your responsibilities include developing well-structured components, writing comprehensive unit, component, and end-to-end tests, and optimizing frontend performance through code splitting and scalable architecture patterns. You'll integrate AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, LLMs, recommendation engines) into frontend applications and ensure seamless user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
You should have strong technical expertise in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks, with a solid understanding of UX/UI design principles like user-centered design and responsive design. The role requires demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality solutions end-to-end, from conception through post-deployment support. You'll work in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to align technical solutions with user needs and business strategy.
Key qualifications include experience building and maintaining scalable codebases, familiarity with frontend architecture patterns (component-driven design, micro-frontends, state management), and a continuous learning mindset. You should demonstrate exceptional initiative, effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and adaptability to changing requirements. Product/business acumen and understanding how technical solutions drive business objectives are valued.
