Matillion is building Maia, an AI Data Automation platform that combines 15 years of data expertise with agentic AI to eliminate manual work in data engineering. The company serves enterprise customers including Cisco, DocuSign, and Slack, and operates globally with teams across the UK, US, and India.
As a Frontend Engineer, you will build user interfaces that power Maia's mission to make data "AI-ready" at scale. You will work primarily with React, adopting an agentic-first mindset where AI tools like Claude are essential partners in your engineering workflow, not shortcuts. Your responsibilities include owning high-visibility features, validating AI-generated code for production readiness, and helping establish quality standards for the frontend team.
This is a hybrid role based in Manchester with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. You will be part of a driven, fast-moving team that thinks big and holds itself to high standards.
