Tripledot Studios, one of the world's largest independent mobile games companies with 2,500+ employees across 12 studios, is seeking a Fraud Analyst for PuzzlePlay, its player rewards platform. PuzzlePlay enables users to earn points, complete challenges, and win real prizes while playing casual free-to-play mobile games. You will own the fraud side of the user segmentation system, working to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users. The role involves regularly reviewing and refining fraud signals—including IP spoofing, VPN use, and unusual play patterns—to keep pace with evolving fraud tactics. You'll maintain and monitor fraud-related user segments, deciding how signals should be interpreted and tracking their effectiveness over time. Key responsibilities include: - Reviewing fraud signals regularly, adding, removing, and refining them to identify suspicious activity - Owning fraud-related segments of the user segmentation system from design through ongoing monitoring - Collaborating with the product team on fraud verification tools for different markets (currently using FaceTec for facial verification; exploring ID scanning and phone verification for other regions) - Investigating users flagged for manual review, including ambiguous cases, and improving the review process - Identifying gaps in available signals and recommending third-party tools for the product roadmap You'll work alongside the analyst responsible for gameplay signals, product managers, and data colleagues. While the role is open to candidates based anywhere in Europe, Warsaw is preferred as several team members are based there. The company offers hybrid working with 20 days of remote flexibility annually, 25 days paid holiday, private medical cover, life and critical illness insurance, family forming support, employee assistance, sport compensation, meal and transport vouchers, language classes, and continuous professional development opportunities. REQUIREMENTS: - Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape detection or prevention decisions (not just working alongside a fraud team) - Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments, or review processes, with interest in how decisions evolve as tactics change - Ability to work with product and other teams to turn analysis into operational fraud controls
