Tripledot Studios, one of the world's largest independent mobile games companies with 2,500+ employees across 12 studios, is seeking a Fraud Analyst for PuzzlePlay, its new player rewards platform. PuzzlePlay allows users to earn points, complete challenges, and win real prizes while playing casual free-to-play mobile games.
In this role, you will own the fraud side of the user segmentation system that combines fraud and activity signals to understand users and inform revenue-share decisions. You'll work alongside the analyst responsible for gameplay signals, product managers, and data colleagues to maintain system effectiveness as fraud patterns evolve.
Key responsibilities include:
- Regularly reviewing and refining fraud signals (IP spoofing, VPN use, unusual play patterns) to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users
- Owning fraud-related segments of the user segmentation system, from signal interpretation to monitoring category performance over time
- Collaborating with the product team on fraud verification tools for different markets, including facial verification (FaceTec) and potentially ID scanning or phone verification
- Investigating users flagged for manual review, including ambiguous cases, and improving the review process
- Identifying gaps in available signals and recommending third-party tools for the product roadmap
The role is based in Europe with Warsaw as the preferred location, though the posting lists Limassol as the job location.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape detection or prevention decisions (not just working alongside a fraud team)
- Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments, or review processes, with interest in how decisions evolve as tactics change
- Ability to work with product and other teams to turn analysis into operational fraud controls
