CesiumAstro is seeking an FPGA Engineer II to contribute to the development of FPGA circuits and systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. In this role, you will work through all phases of the FPGA development process, from design through verification, test, and deployment at the HDL level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing FPGA circuits with high-speed serial interfaces and data streams
- Developing digital processing cores and managing multiple clock domains
- Creating and implementing management interfaces
- Conducting comprehensive testing, validation, and verification of FPGA designs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic startup environment
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in FPGA design, HDL-level verification, and test methodologies. Experience with digital signal processing or board-level hardware design is desirable. You should be comfortable working on complex, leading-edge hardware systems for aerospace applications and thrive in a hands-on, interactive work environment.
