CesiumAstro is seeking an FPGA Engineer II to contribute to the development of FPGA circuits and systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. In this role, you will work through all phases of the FPGA development process, from design through verification, test, and deployment at the HDL level.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing FPGA circuits that handle high-speed serial interfaces, data streams, digital processing cores, multiple clock domains, and management interfaces. You will be central to testing, validation, and verification efforts for FPGA designs. The role offers hands-on, interactive work in a dynamic, cross-functional startup environment focused on pioneering out-of-the-box communication systems for aerospace platforms.
Ideal candidates will have solid experience in FPGA design, verification, test, and deployment using HDL. Background in digital signal processing or board-level hardware design is desirable. This is a position for someone passionate about developing leading-edge hardware for spacecraft and aerospace systems who thrives in collaborative, autonomous work environments.
