The FP&A Manager will join a small, high-performing finance team that drives Aurora's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. This is a strategic role with direct exposure to the VP of Finance and CEO, operating at the center of the company's financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights that influence strategic decision-making
- Own end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, Board reporting, and variance analysis
- Administer and evolve Pigment (the company's financial planning platform), including data model design, system integrations, and forecast model development
- Collaborate with Finance peers to track performance metrics and KPIs
- Simplify, streamline, and automate FP&A processes to support rapid global scaling
- Identify strategic opportunities to improve operations, increase revenue, or decrease costs
- Translate financial models into compelling narratives for leadership and the Board
The role emphasizes driving operating efficiency, owning financial planning platform administration, and moving beyond reporting to actionable insights that shape business strategy.
Requirements:
- Strong financial modeling experience, including building and maintaining driver-based models
- Experience owning and administering a financial planning tool
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels
- Demonstrated knowledge of SaaS business models
- Strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and operate effectively in high-performing teams
Nice to Haves:
- Direct experience as a Pigment administrator
- Experience with usage-based or consumption metrics and modeling
- Experience with data systems, Python, SQL, or JavaScript
- Executive presence and comfort presenting to VP/C-suite stakeholders
