Nory is an AI-powered restaurant management system that helps operators control margins through real-time data and predictive analytics. The company recently closed a Series B led by Kinnevik and operates across Ireland, the UK, Spain, and New York with 100+ employees.
You will own and build Nory's FP&A function end-to-end, reporting to a finance leader with deep FP&A experience. This is a leadership role where you drive the entire function's growth and impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budget, reforecasts, and long-range planning cycles from model build through executive and board sign-off
- Deliver monthly management reporting and board packs with clear narrative commentary on performance, drivers, and recommendations
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, People, Product, and Engineering to set targets, track KPIs, and optimize headcount and spend allocation
- Own core SaaS metrics (ARR, net revenue retention, CAC payback, burn, runway) as the single source of truth
- Build financial models and analysis supporting strategic decisions: fundraising, pricing, market expansion, and other major bets
- Scale FP&A processes, tools, and data infrastructure to support company growth; shape the team over time
Requirements:
- 6+ years in FP&A or strategic finance, ideally in high-growth SaaS or tech
- Professional accounting qualification not required, but must understand accounting principles and build solid three-statement forecasts
- Proven end-to-end ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles (not just contribution)
- Strong modeling skills: driver-based and three-statement models that are robust, flexible, and easy to follow; Excel/Google Sheets required; SQL and other tools desirable
- Commercial judgment: go beyond numbers, form clear viewpoints, influence senior stakeholders
- Clear communication of complex financials to diverse audiences (team leads to board)
- Startup mindset: thrive in fast-paced environments, move quickly, comfortable with ambiguity; prefer shipping good-enough forecasts today over perfect ones next month
- Demonstrated track record building and improving scalable finance processes and tools with long-term thinking
