Behavox is a cloud-native AI company providing an integrated controls platform for global financial institutions—banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance businesses, and commodity firms. The platform unifies communications and trade surveillance, compliant archiving, policy management, and front-office analytics on a single AI-native SaaS stack, delivered globally at scale.
The Senior FP&A Analyst owns Behavox's core financial model—its architecture, accounting foundations, and the forecasts and analysis that drive leadership decisions. This is a high-autonomy role accountable for the accuracy and integrity of all financial outputs, turning numbers into sharp, actionable recommendations for senior leadership, the board, and investors. The analyst builds and maintains the integrated three-statement and operating model with scenario and sensitivity layers, integrating budgets without owning the budgeting cycle itself.
The role also owns acquisition modeling and integration work: building valuations, scenarios, and pro-forma combined-entity models for acquisition evaluation and due diligence, then folding closed deals into a single consolidated view. This periodic work must be carried alone when it arrives; steady state is the operating model and SaaS forecasting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining the core financial model with scenario and sensitivity analysis, ensuring accuracy and clean architecture
- Driving much of the substance of monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for senior management, the board, and investors
- Diagnosing why metrics move and which levers change them; pressure-testing assumptions and handing decision-makers actionable recommendations
- Using AI and spreadsheet automation to compress cycle time and harden data validation
- Partnering across the business to understand revenue drivers, cost structure, and operating levers
Influence comes from the rigor and reach of analysis, not authority. The analyst owns the model and the truth it tells, not the decisions made from it.
Behavox was founded in 2014 and is backed by SoftBank Vision Fund. Headquartered in London with offices in New York City, Montreal, Seattle, Singapore, and Tokyo.
**Requirements:**
- Deep knowledge of integrated three-statement and operating models, plus the accounting that supports them (including SaaS revenue recognition and cost treatment)
- Expertise in both bottom-up short-term forecasting and driver-based long-term modeling; fluency with SaaS unit economics and metrics
- Hands-on experience with mergers, acquisitions, and integration: purchase accounting, combined-entity projections, and integration mechanics
- In-depth business and commercial acumen: understanding how the business and every function make money, spotting numbers that don't add up
- Command of Google Sheets and Excel; close tracking of the AI and automation landscape to know where it is trustworthy
