Behavox is a cloud-native AI company providing an integrated controls platform for global banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance businesses, and commodity firms. You will own Behavox's core financial model—its architecture, accounting foundations, and the forecasts and analysis that drive leadership decisions. This is a high-autonomy role that turns numbers into actionable choices for senior leadership, the board, and investors. You will build and maintain the integrated three-statement and operating model with scenario and sensitivity layers, ensuring accuracy and integrity of every assumption and output.
Your responsibilities include:
• Financial Model Ownership: Build and maintain the core three-statement and operating model with scenario and sensitivity analysis. Integrate budgets into the model (without owning the budgeting cycle itself) and own the accuracy of every output.
• Acquisition Modeling & Integration: Build valuations, scenarios, and pro-forma combined-entity models for acquisition evaluation and due diligence. Fold closed deals into a single consolidated view, handling purchase accounting and integration mechanics.
• Business-Review Reporting: Drive the substance of monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for senior management, the board, and investors, translating the model into narratives that explain what moved results and what it means for the business.
• Metrics Analysis & Business Partnering: Diagnose why metrics are moving, pressure-test assumptions, and hand decision-makers recommendations they can act on—including downside cases, not just point estimates.
• AI-Enabled Productivity: Use AI and spreadsheet automation to compress cycle time and harden data validation, automating recurring work while preserving judgment on what stays manual.
This role is accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the numbers and for turning them into sharp, actionable recommendations. Your influence comes from the rigor and reach of your analysis, not from authority. You work fluently with modern tooling and AI, pressure-test every assumption, and compound your edge by learning relentlessly.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Financial Model & Accounting Foundations: Deep knowledge of how integrated three-statement and operating models fit together, including the accounting that supports them. Must understand SaaS revenue recognition and cost treatment. Must know how the company's budgets are built and how to fold them into the model.
• Forecasting & SaaS Unit Economics: Expertise in both bottom-up short-term forecasting and driver-based long-term modeling. Must know SaaS metrics that reveal performance, what moves each metric, and which lever changes it—not just how to report it.
• Mergers, Acquisitions & Integration: Proven ability to value acquisitions and fold them into consolidated models. Must understand purchase accounting, combined-entity projections, and the mechanics that make or break integration.
• Business & Commercial Acumen: In-depth knowledge of how the business and every function make money—revenue drivers, cost structure, operating levers. Must spot numbers that don't add up on sight.
• Financial Systems & AI Tooling: Command of Google Sheets and Excel. Must track the AI and automation landscape closely enough to know where it is trustworthy and where it isn't.
