Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 / annual
GenMD is unlocking healthcare data at scale by creating privacy-preserving digital twins from patient records. The company transforms real health system data into synthetic records that maintain statistical integrity while protecting patient privacy, enabling AI labs, pharma companies, and researchers to access previously unavailable healthcare data for drug development, clinical trials, and medical research.
As Founding GTM Lead, you will own the complete go-to-market strategy for a newly launched, revenue-generating company backed by premier investors. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with no inherited playbook—you'll define how GenMD acquires and activates users from day one.
Key responsibilities include: driving adoption of the Healthcare DataHub among researchers and AI teams; building and testing acquisition, activation, referral, and partnership channels; developing relationships with AI labs and healthcare AI companies; personally conducting outreach, discovery calls, demos, and closing early commercial deals; determining ideal customer profiles, positioning, packaging, and pricing; establishing the foundations of a repeatable GTM engine; and bridging product roadmaps with GTM execution.
You'll report directly to leadership at a small, fast-moving company founded by Stanford Medicine veterans with access to tens of millions of patient records. The role requires equal comfort with product-led growth and direct sales, strong analytical instincts for running experiments, and experience selling technical products to researchers, data scientists, and ML engineers. You should have 4+ years in growth, GTM, sales, or equivalent early-stage roles, with prior experience building products before playbooks were established. AI startup experience is strongly preferred.
