Sira is building AI-native workforce management software for deskless workers—scheduling, timesheets, payroll, HR, and invoicing. The company started with security guard companies (50–300 officers, 24/7 coverage) and is replacing fragmented legacy stacks (ADP, Connecteam, QuickBooks, spreadsheets). YC S25 with real revenue and established customers.
As a Founding Engineer, you'll own whole product surfaces end-to-end. You'll pick problems, talk directly to customers, ship solutions, and see them in use within a week. The role emphasizes customer obsession and shipping impact—you're building for people who depend on the software to get paid correctly and manage operations reliably.
The tech stack is TypeScript, React/Next, Node, Postgres, and AWS. You'll work hand-in-hand with the founder/CEO on product strategy and execution. The company sees a clear opportunity in AI workflows applied to a market with no good existing software.
Interview process is fast (under two weeks, yes/no within 24 hours at each stage): founder intro, technical conversation (real shipped work, no LeetCode), paid 4–6 hour work session on actual codebase, and team/customer day with live call observation. Offer within 48 hours of final round.
