Footprint is building Percy, an AI agent that automates financial crime investigations for compliance teams at banks and fintechs. The company has built a proprietary identity platform over four years and is backed by QED, Index, Box Group, and Lerer Hippeau. They 5x'd revenue last year and are scaling rapidly with a small, senior team.
This founding-stage role combines two functions: sales engineering and business operations. You'll be the technical partner in deals, working hands-on with prospects' compliance and fraud teams to demonstrate Percy's value using their own data. You'll show exactly how Percy would operate within their systems and compare it to their current workflows.
On the operations side, you'll build and scale the GTM and revenue systems that enable growth. This includes developing pipeline analytics, improving sales tooling and processes, and turning data into actionable recommendations for leadership. You'll own special projects end-to-end—taking ambiguous, high-priority problems and delivering outcomes.
You'll also close the loop between sales and product, feeding field patterns and deal insights back to engineering to sharpen both Percy and the sales motion. You report directly to the Chief of Staff.
The ideal candidate has 0–4 years in a role demanding analytical rigor and pace: fast-growing startups, MBB consulting, investment banking, private equity, sales engineering, or solutions/analyst roles. You're scrappy, best-in-class at something, and bring that resourcefulness to whatever's in front of you. You're comfortable with SQL or scripting, strong at communicating complex results to both technical and executive audiences, and thrive in ambiguity. Experience in fintech, compliance, fraud, RevOps, FP&A, or data analysis is a plus.
