Coral Care is building a marketplace connecting licensed healthcare providers (starting with pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy) directly with families, enabling clinicians to build thriving independent practices while families access care in their communities. The company is backed by $13M Series A funding and operates from NYC with a team of ~20.
As Founder's Associate, you'll work directly with CEO and Founder Jen Wirt as her right hand, serving as a rare early-career opportunity to learn how a venture-backed startup operates from the inside.
The role splits into two equally important halves:
**Projects (~70% of time):**
- Run the operating rhythm: prepare weekly leadership working sessions, track decisions and follow-ups, ensure owners close them
- Collect and validate weekly metrics from team leads ahead of Monday metrics meetings
- Own special projects for the CEO, such as launching local partnership programs, building investor updates, or researching new markets
- Transform complex problems into clear one-pagers, trackers, and actionable plans
- Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive work, freeing the team to focus on high-impact activities
**CEO and Office Support (~30% of time):**
- Manage CEO's calendar, scheduling, and meeting preparation
- Triage email and ensure priorities don't slip through the cracks
- Coordinate travel, events, board and investor meeting logistics
- Run NYC office operations: vendor management, supplies, guest coordination, new hire onboarding
- Organize team moments including offsites, holiday gifts, and celebrations
The support work is intentionally structured to give you visibility into everything the CEO sees—it's the fastest path to earning larger projects and understanding how a founder-led company operates.
**Requirements:**
- 0–3 years of experience in operations, consulting, banking, early-stage startup, or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills: ability to track multiple threads simultaneously and close every loop
- Clear, concise writing
- Comfort with data and AI tools
- Sound judgment with confidential information
- Genuine enthusiasm for support work, not just project work
**Bonus qualifications:**
- Prior early-stage startup experience
- Fluency with AI tools and workflow automation
- Passion for healthcare access for children and families
