As Founder Associate, you sit in the founders' office and work directly with the founders and Chief of Staff to shape and execute initiatives driving Prior Labs' growth. You gain real ownership of business functions with broad exposure across the company—from strategy to execution. The role spans four core areas: Growth (owning the inbound pipeline end-to-end, qualifying and scoring leads, testing new channels, managing attribution); Sales Enablement (automating call prep, owning decks and case studies, tracking POCs, building reference stories); Ops & Automation (automating recurring workflows, building agents across the tech stack, prototyping fast); and Expansion & People Ops (opening new offices, owning onboarding, redesigning people processes, running hiring operations). You pick ownership areas based on company needs and your strengths, working in an AI-first environment where you spend less time on grunt work and more time building systems that make it obsolete.
The company operates from Berlin, Freiburg, and New York, with on-site work expected in New York. Teams value high standards in work quality and collaboration, moving fast while doing things right. The company is doubling headcount across two countries and building infrastructure to support that growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in consulting, venture capital, startups, or similar roles
- AI-first mindset: actively using new tools, understanding where they save time, knowing when human judgment is required
- High agency: shipping v1 quickly, iterating, taking ownership without waiting for detailed briefs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on execution
- Structured and reliable: when you own something, it's handled
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
PREFERRED:
- Experience working in or with early-stage startups
- Built automations, agents, or internal tools that people actually used
- Background in machine learning, data science, or related technical fields
- Familiarity with open source, foundation models, or data science ecosystems
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects or initiatives
- Interest or experience in sales enablement, content creation, or community building
