As Founder Associate, you sit in the founders' office and work directly with the founders and Chief of Staff to shape and execute initiatives driving Prior Labs' growth. You gain real ownership of business functions with broad exposure across strategy and execution, picking up ownership across Growth, Sales & Enablement, Marketing & Community, and People Ops based on company needs and your strengths.
Core areas of impact include: (1) Growth—owning the inbound pipeline end-to-end, removing manual steps through better scoring and routing, building pipeline reporting, testing new channels, and owning tracking/attribution; (2) Sales Enablement—automating call prep, owning decks/case studies/battle cards/demo assets, keeping POCs on track, and turning closed deals into reference stories; (3) Ops & Automation—automating recurring workflows, building agents and automations across HRIS/CRM/Notion/Slack, owning internal tooling, and shipping tools the whole company uses daily; (4) Expansion & People Ops—opening new offices, owning onboarding end-to-end, redesigning people processes, making HRIS the single source of truth, and running the operational side of hiring.
You're a resourceful, adaptable, self-driven builder who thrives in fast-paced startup environments with potential to grow into a future leader. Everything at Prior Labs is AI-first, so you'll spend less time on grunt work and more time building systems that make it obsolete.
Based in Berlin with offices also in Freiburg and New York. The company values moving fast while doing things right, and teams come together regularly for offsites.
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in consulting, venture capital, startups, or similar roles
- AI-first way of working: you try new tools immediately, know where they save time, and know where your judgment takes over
- High agency: ship v1 quickly, iterate, don't wait for a brief to figure out what needs doing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on execution
- Structured and reliable: when you own something, it's handled
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
What Makes You Special (preferred):
- Experience working in or with early-stage startups
- Built automations, agents, or internal tools that people actually used
- Background in machine learning, data science, or related technical fields
- Familiarity with open source, foundation models, or data science ecosystems
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects or initiatives
- Interest or experience in sales enablement, content creation, or community building
