Socure is building identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy, verifying identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The company is expanding its mission with RiskOS, an AI-powered operating system for fraud, risk, identity, and compliance operations serving major financial institutions, government agencies, prediction markets, gaming companies, marketplaces, fintechs, and digital platforms.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will bridge the gap between promising AI-assisted workflow ideas and trusted production systems. You will work directly with large strategic customers and partners, owning the complete journey from discovery and technical scoping through system design, build, deployment, evaluation, and adoption. This is an embedded builder role—close enough to customer teams to understand real workflows, technical enough to build into production environments, and product-minded enough to turn what works into reusable platform capabilities.
Key responsibilities include: building with strategic customers to understand their workflows, data environments, technical constraints, and operational pain points; owning deployments from prototype to production, leading discovery through adoption; translating customer policies, SOPs, and operational processes into RiskOS workflows and agent behaviors; writing code, configuring systems, and integrating with customer infrastructure when needed; evaluating and improving agentic workflows through testing, observability, and guardrails; measuring whether deployed workflows improve speed, accuracy, analyst productivity, and other customer-defined outcomes; and surfacing product gaps and repeatable patterns to convert into reusable templates and platform capabilities.
You bring strong hands-on technical ability across APIs, integrations, workflow logic, data mappings, and production systems. You excel at end-to-end ownership, taking ambiguous customer problems from discovery to production with good tradeoffs. You have direct experience working with enterprise customers or strategic partners on messy problems. You combine product-minded engineering judgment with systems thinking, breaking complex workflows into modular, testable components. You thrive in fast-moving environments with incomplete requirements and evolving priorities. You likely have 4+ years in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or applied AI engineering, with experience in Python, SQL, APIs, cloud services, workflow tools, LLM workflows, or agentic systems. Preferred experience includes deploying AI/ML/LLM systems in production, working in fraud/risk/compliance operations, and working with large financial institutions or complex enterprise customers.
