Minka is a Series A fintech startup building an open platform for publishing money and connecting the world's balances through shared, connected ledgers. They position themselves as the clearing layer for the web in the payments infrastructure stack.
You will serve as the technical bridge between Sales and strategic customers, ensuring successful deployments and long-term retention. This is a hands-on Senior Engineer role with significant customer-facing responsibility—not a traditional solutions architect or project manager position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the "Success" phase: guiding new clients through technical integration, writing sample code and documentation to get them live
- Accompanying Sales on high-level pitches to answer technical feasibility questions and prevent over-promising
- Translating customer pain points and feature requests into actionable technical requirements for the Product team
- Helping clients design their implementation of Minka's Ledger/L2 technology to maximize ROI and ensure retention
- Writing integration scripts and troubleshooting client-side API calls directly
You combine the technical depth of a Senior Developer with the communication skills of a consultant. You have 7+ years of industry experience, ideally in FinTech or Payments, managing complex B2B technical integrations. You understand how to map customer business goals directly to API capabilities and believe that a resolved ticket is only a win if the customer is delighted.
This role requires someone who enjoys the "social" side of technology and wants to ensure that systems actually drive business impact and revenue. You are comfortable writing code yourself while also guiding customers through implementation decisions.
