Probably Genetic is a healthtech platform that helps drug developers and patient advocacy groups develop and launch treatments for patients with severe, complex diseases. The platform discovers undiagnosed patients online, analyzes disease state using machine learning and at-home testing, and enables compliant patient communication. In this Forward Deployed Product Manager role, you will lead a new product line end-to-end, owning both vision and strategy for its growth. You will manage the full post-sale relationship for key biopharma accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and consolidating customer requests, feedback, and patterns into a clear product roadmap. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a new product line end-to-end with ownership of vision and strategy
- Build and maintain a consolidated backlog of customer requests and feedback, identifying patterns and translating them into actionable product feature requests
- Prepare and deliver data-driven insight packages and presentations for customer stakeholders
- Own the full post-sale customer relationship for key biopharma accounts, ensuring consistent, high-quality experience
- Establish and run regular customer check-in cadences, proactively surfacing insights and flagging risks
- Partner with BD and engineering teams to scope and prioritize customer-informed improvements
- Support ownership of customer-facing product and tooling, contributing to product management and roadmap decisions
- Build lightweight AI-assisted tools and automations to streamline customer reporting
- Collaborate with leadership on account strategy, renewal planning, and expansion opportunities
The role is hybrid and flexible, based in Downtown San Francisco near transit, with a "work from anywhere" policy allowing up to 4 weeks per year remote work. REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in customer success, solutions, forward-deployed engineering, product management, or related client-facing role, ideally in biopharma, healthtech, or data-driven B2B environment
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage senior stakeholder relationships at large organizations, including running proactive account cadences and handling escalations
- Strong data fluency—comfortable working in spreadsheets and ideally with SQL or Python to pull, clean, and package insights without heavy analytical support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with track record of producing polished customer-facing deliverables (decks, dashboards, insight summaries)
- AI native—use AI tools as core part of workflow and comfortable vibe coding lightweight solutions without engineering support
- Experience translating customer feedback into product requirements and working alongside engineering to deliver improvements
Desirable but not required: familiarity with rare disease, genetics, or biopharma drug development lifecycle; experience with patient-facing or healthcare data platforms; formal product management experience or ownership of customer-facing platform or tool.
