Sirius Technology is building AI agents to solve subscriber churn for consumer subscription brands. Backed by a16z Speedrun, the company works with customers like Higgsfield and Promova to retain users and extend lifetime value.
As a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer, you'll own the full deployment architecture and lifecycle for the company's most critical customers. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing deployment strategies across customer environments (VPC configuration, permissioning, networking, infrastructure provisioning), managing infrastructure for initial deployment through ongoing upgrades and scaling, and developing deployment runbooks and automation tooling.
You'll partner directly with the engineering team to ensure the AI agent platform is deployable across diverse customer tech stacks and compliance requirements. This is a customer-facing infrastructure role where you'll work with customers' platform engineering, security, and DevOps teams—particularly in regulated industries handling sensitive subscription data. You'll also collaborate with Sales and Customer Success during pre-sales and onboarding to scope infrastructure requirements and translate customer needs into deployment plans.
You should bring at least 1 year of infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or solutions architecture experience with significant customer-facing deployment work. Deep expertise with AWS services, Terraform, container orchestration, and cloud networking (VPCs, IAM, DNS, load balancing) is required. You'll need a track record managing deployments in customer-owned cloud environments, navigating security reviews, compliance requirements, and change management. Strong operational instincts around upgrades, rollbacks, monitoring, and failure modes are essential. You should be comfortable in a fast-moving seed-stage environment where processes are still being written.
Nice-to-have skills include experience deploying AI/ML workloads or LLM-based products into enterprise environments, familiarity with subscription platform infrastructure (billing systems, CRM integrations, data pipelines), and prior startup experience wearing multiple hats.
The company values stewardship, trust, customer obsession, excellence, and family. Work is in-person in San Francisco. Benefits include flexible healthcare spending, ownership in what you build, daily lunch and snacks, and genuine time off. Note: visa sponsorship is not available.
