Cohere is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead end-to-end deployment of North, our enterprise AI workspace platform, in private cloud and on-premises environments for high-profile clients including RBC, Dell, and LG CNS. You will serve as a bridge between our core product and enterprise IT teams, designing and implementing deployment strategies tailored to client infrastructure, security, and data management requirements.
Key responsibilities include: leading deployment planning, configuration, testing, and rollout; partnering with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure and compliance needs; troubleshooting deployment issues to minimize downtime; and traveling 20–40% to work on-site with customers. You'll experiment at high velocity while maintaining quality standards, solving complex problems in critical sectors such as finance, healthcare, and telecommunications.
Required qualifications: proven experience deploying enterprise software in private/hybrid cloud environments; hands-on administration of large-scale production Kubernetes clusters with Helm expertise; strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking, and virtualization; familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines; ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments; and direct customer-facing experience. French fluency is required. Active DV clearance is highly preferred.
Bonus skills include GPU node orchestration, understanding of GPU infrastructure and inference systems, and distributed systems optimization. This role offers the opportunity to shape how enterprises adopt AI in real-world applications at the cutting edge of Agentic AI.
