As a Forward Deployed Engineer, DevOps, you will be the technical backbone of the Agent Integration Engineering team, responsible for designing and scaling the cloud infrastructure that powers custom agent integrations for Parloa's most important enterprise customers. Your primary mission is to build a robust, automated, self-service platform that enables rapid deployment and management of bespoke client solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure specifically for hosting custom services developed by the integration team
- Create flexible, reusable CI/CD pipeline templates using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Champion Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform to standardize and accelerate service provisioning
- Manage and optimize a Kubernetes-based environment for hosting diverse integration services, with focus on security, isolation, and resource efficiency
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions to provide deep visibility into service performance and health
- Serve as the primary DevOps partner for the Forward Deployed Engineering team, anticipating needs and removing infrastructure obstacles
- Develop automation scripts in Python, Go, or Bash to streamline the full lifecycle of custom integration services
- Support modernization of legacy Azure infrastructure, transitioning workloads to standardized Kubernetes platforms
You bring 5+ years of professional DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, with strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure). You have proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows, deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), and a track record of creating self-service platforms that empower development teams. A customer-first mindset is essential—you view the integration engineering team as your primary customer and are driven to remove their obstacles and accelerate their delivery.
