Warp is a fast-growing AI development platform that evolved from a terminal tool into a full agentic development environment. The company has 750k+ active developers, serves half of the Fortune 500, and achieved 44x revenue growth last year. Warp offers two products: Warp (an agentic development environment integrating with agents like Claude Code and Gemini CLI) and Oz (an orchestration platform for running hundreds of cloud agents in parallel).
As the Founding Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be the first hire dedicated to enterprise implementations of Oz, bridging the gap between Warp's platform and customers' unique environments. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product strategy, and go-to-market, requiring hands-on technical leadership to deploy production agent workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end enterprise implementations from discovery through production deployment, running deep discovery on customer engineering environments and architecting agent workflows tailored to their stack.
- Architect agent workflows with customers by helping design agent architectures for specific use cases, selecting triggers (Slack, Linear, GitHub Actions, webhooks, cron schedules, API calls), configuring sandboxed environments, and structuring multi-step automation.
- Build production-grade solutions alongside customers by writing and iterating on agent prompts, skills, and configurations; setting up environments, secrets, MCP servers, and integrations; and debugging using session sharing and observability tools.
- Guide self-hosted deployments for enterprises requiring execution on their own infrastructure, configuring managed workers (Docker, Kubernetes, or Direct backend), setting up task routing, and validating network connectivity.
- Accelerate deals through technical execution by joining customer calls from discovery through deployment to identify opportunities for Oz cloud agents.
- Develop reusable implementation patterns by documenting architecture patterns, reference implementations, agent skills, and templates to accelerate future implementations.
This founding role offers direct exposure across the business with reporting to leadership and the opportunity to shape how enterprises adopt agentic development at scale.
