You will lead complex Next.js migrations, architect high-performance applications, and build production AI solutions within customer environments. Working hands-on alongside customer engineering teams, you'll handle tasks ranging from migrating legacy React applications to App Router, conducting deep-dive code audits, deploying production agents using Vercel's AI SDK, and optimizing Core Web Vitals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex frontend migrations (React, Vue to Next.js, Pages to App Router transitions)
- Conducting technical assessments and code audits to identify performance bottlenecks and architectural improvements
- Architecting and implementing high-performance Next.js applications using advanced rendering strategies
- Building production AI solutions including conversational interfaces, agents, and agentic workflows
- Embedding with strategic customers to build and ship production TypeScript applications
- Driving enablement through workshops, pair programming, and documentation
- Navigating complex enterprise environments and building stakeholder relationships
- Participating in pre-sales activities including discovery calls and proposal development
- Contributing insights back to Product and Engineering teams
You'll report to the Director of Professional Services and operate with high agency and autonomy. The role is remote-first with significant travel (25-40%) to customer sites for embedded engagements. You'll be equally comfortable leading technical discovery sessions with engineering leadership as you are refactoring complex code or optimizing workflows.
