Unframe is an AI-first startup enabling enterprises to deploy LLM-powered applications rapidly—from concept to production in days rather than months. The company blends product-company speed with consultancy flexibility, serving Fortune 500 customers. Backed by $100M+ in TCV within 12 months and a $50M Series B from Highland Europe (with Bessemer, Craft, and TLV as investors), Unframe is scaling globally.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success. You'll work directly with enterprise customers to understand their business and technical challenges, translating open-ended problems into practical AI solutions. Your responsibilities include building production-grade integrations, workflows, and automations across customer systems, APIs, and data sources. You'll own customer implementations end-to-end—from discovery through production deployment—ensuring solutions are shipped and tested in real customer environments, not just prototypes.
You'll design and implement LLM-powered workflows and agentic systems for genuine enterprise use cases, partnering closely with the Product and Engineering teams to continuously improve the platform. This role demands strong ownership, the ability to drive projects from conception to production, and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React/Vue, and PostgreSQL. You should have experience integrating systems via APIs, working in production environments, and ideally prior exposure to AI, LLMs, MCP, or agentic workflows. Experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles is highly valued.
You'll gain real ownership from day one, shape decisions, and learn rapidly alongside founders and VPs in a space that evolves weekly. This is an opportunity to build what comes next in enterprise AI.
