As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success. You'll work directly with enterprise customers to understand their business and technical challenges, translating open-ended problems into practical AI solutions. Your responsibilities include building production-grade integrations, workflows, and automations across customer systems, APIs, and data sources. You'll own customer implementations end-to-end—from discovery and design through production deployment and iteration in real customer environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner directly with enterprise customers to understand business and technical needs
- Design and implement LLM-powered workflows and agentic systems for real use cases
- Build and ship production-grade customer-facing solutions, not prototypes
- Develop integrations and automations across customer systems and APIs
- Deploy, test, and iterate in live customer environments
- Own implementations from discovery through production
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve the platform
You bring 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React/Vue, and PostgreSQL. You're comfortable in fast-paced startup environments and have experience working directly with customers to translate business needs into technical solutions. Experience with AI, LLMs, MCP, agentic workflows, or similar customer-facing technical roles (Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering) is expected. You demonstrate strong ownership, drive projects from discovery to production, and excel at integrating systems via APIs in production environments.
