Take2 AI is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, launch, and continuously improve AI Interviewers for enterprise healthcare customers. The role sits at the intersection of voice/conversational agents, prompt engineering, evaluation systems, and production iteration.
You will work directly with customers to understand screening requirements, translate them into structured interviewer behavior, deploy agents into production, and improve performance based on real-world feedback and metrics. This is a hands-on, analytical role for someone who enjoys turning ambiguous requirements into precise agent behavior, building rigorous evaluation approaches, and shipping improvements quickly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead technical onboarding with customers to understand roles, hiring goals, and constraints; translate needs into structured interview flows, question banks, and scoring rubrics.
- Design, build, and refine prompts and agent logic that drive interviewer behavior, question sequencing, and candidate experience; ensure conversations are consistent, role-relevant, and robust to edge cases.
- Design and maintain AI-based evaluation and scoring aligned to customer rubrics; improve accuracy, consistency, and explainability at scale; identify bias/fairness risks.
- Launch new customer interviewers into production and own iteration cycles; use customer feedback and production metrics to prioritize improvements.
- Build and own lightweight QA/evaluation pipelines to measure conversation quality, scoring accuracy, and reliability; monitor production performance.
Required experience: minimum 2 years (preferred 4-6) in an engineering role; 1+ years (preferred 2+) working with LLMs, NLP systems, or AI agents in production; strong full-stack software engineering; demonstrated experience designing and deploying agent workflows at scale; strong understanding of prompt engineering, agent control, and conversational edge cases; experience building evaluation/testing frameworks for AI systems; comfort being customer-facing; strong analytical mindset.
Preferred: 2+ years as a Forward Deployed Engineer at a B2B AI tech company; familiarity with voice/conversational AI systems; strong Python skills; hands-on experience with multiple LLMs; experience designing multi-step agents with state management; prior startup experience; Bachelor's in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent.
