In this customer-facing technical role, you will lead hands-on delivery of complex enterprise customer engagements, designing and building production-ready solutions that integrate Notion deeply into customers' technical and operational environments. You will embed with enterprise customers to understand their needs and architect custom solutions using Notion's APIs, automation infrastructure, and AI agent capabilities (including MCPs and Agent APIs). Your responsibilities include writing and maintaining production-quality code, designing and deploying custom agents and AI workflows, building data pipelines, and managing complex challenges around scale, permissions, and governance. Key responsibilities include owning end-to-end technical delivery from discovery through implementation; acting as a trusted technical advisor on architectural decisions; designing, building, and operating custom agents, integrations, automations, and data pipelines; leading large-scale content and data migrations; working with customer engineering, IT, security, and business stakeholders; troubleshooting complex implementation issues; designing feedback loops with Product and Engineering teams; building reusable technical assets and tooling; and helping define how Services delivers complex implementations at scale. You bring 5+ years of customer-facing or forward-deployed engineering experience, proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, or Python), hands-on API and data integration experience, and strong technical discovery and communication skills. Nice-to-haves include professional services experience, AI agent deployment experience, experience with AI-powered workflows and MCPs, and ETL/data migration expertise. The role is based in Dublin with hybrid work expectations: in-office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days).
