Maisa is building agentic process automation platforms that help enterprises automate complex, decision-heavy workflows combining AI-driven reasoning with deterministic execution. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success, deploying and customizing Maisa Studio to solve real-world enterprise problems.
You'll engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their processes and requirements, then design and implement solutions using Maisa Studio to automate complex workflows. You'll act as a trusted technical partner during onboarding and deployment, translating business requirements into technical implementations while gathering product feedback to influence the roadmap.
The role spans two key technical domains:
**Integrations & Supporting Services**: Configure and extend Maisa Studio into customer environments, designing end-to-end solutions including APIs, connectors, webhooks, serverless functions, microservices, and event-driven flows. You'll translate functional requirements into concrete implementations using Go, Python, or JavaScript, ensure robustness through testing and monitoring, and troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems.
**Customer Infrastructure Deployments / DevOps**: Design and support deployments in customer environments (on-premise and cloud), working with customer DevOps and security teams to achieve production readiness. Configure authentication (OIDC, SAML), IAM, networking (VPNs, DNS, ingress/egress), and operational controls. Diagnose deployment-level incidents and produce operational documentation including runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
You'll bring strong software engineering experience from customer-facing or delivery-oriented roles, comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with strong troubleshooting skills. Ideal candidates have either backend/full-stack development experience with APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures, or DevOps/SRE experience with Kubernetes, cloud providers, on-prem infrastructure, and security standards (OIDC, SAML, VPNs, IAM). Clear communication with technical stakeholders is essential.
Maisa recently closed a $25M seed round backed by Creandum, Forgepoint, NFX, and Village Global, and is scaling with significant enterprise traction. You'll work on cutting-edge agentic process automation technology that directly impacts how major multinational organizations transform critical business processes.
