As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between customers and the product team. You'll partner with Account Executives to understand each customer's unique technical stack (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Perforce, on-premises) and tailor Greptile's deployment accordingly. Your responsibilities include running technical discovery sessions, designing and leading proof-of-concept projects in complex environments, and handling security/compliance diligence including questionnaires, architecture documentation, and procurement unblocking.
You'll build reference implementations and lightweight integrations to accelerate customer adoption, create reusable assets like demo environments and PoC templates to improve team win rates, and serve as the internal voice of the customer—surfacing requirements and feedback to product and engineering teams.
The role requires 1+ years of software or DevOps engineering experience with strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript. You should be comfortable with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise identity standards (SSO/SCIM, SAML, OIDC). The ability to quickly learn new technologies and produce working examples or scripts on the fly is essential.
