Salary: USD 130,000 - 210,000 / annual

Gradial is an AI-native marketing operations platform that helps marketers and creatives move from idea to execution faster by orchestrating across martech stacks, workflows, and people. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will lead technical implementations of Gradial's AI platform directly with enterprise customers. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of engineering and customer problem-solving, ideal for someone who wants to write code while shaping how major brands modernize their content operations. Key responsibilities include: - Lead technical discovery and implementation for new enterprise customers, translating business processes into AI-native solutions - Build, deploy, and optimize features integrating customer systems with Gradial's LLM-driven platform - Develop reusable tools, adapters, and configuration layers for scalable enterprise onboarding - Collaborate with customer stakeholders (marketing, operations, engineering) to define requirements and iterate in real time - Work closely with Gradial's product and engineering teams to incorporate field learnings into the core roadmap - Contribute to technical documentation and implementation playbooks - Own performance, reliability, and maintainability of deployed solutions from backend architecture to customer UX Required qualifications: - 1+ years of software engineering or technical implementation experience, ideally in customer-facing contexts - Proficiency in TypeScript or similar programming languages with strong API and systems integration knowledge - Ability to rapidly understand unfamiliar enterprise software architectures (CMS, DAM, workflow tools) and build integration paths - Excellent communication skills translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders - High ownership mindset with comfort operating independently and navigating ambiguity - Willingness to travel occasionally (<10%) for customer discovery and deployment Nice-to-have experience includes enterprise customer work in content/marketing/digital operations and familiarity with LLMs, generative AI pipelines, and agent-style automation frameworks.
