Diligent is the leading GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platform globally, and is expanding its AI agent capabilities to embed directly into customer environments. This Forward Deployed Engineer role is a builder position—not support or consulting—focused on designing and implementing production-grade AI agents for complex governance, risk, and compliance workflows.
You will work at the intersection of AI engineering and enterprise customer needs. Rather than building assistants that surface suggestions, you'll architect agents that own complete, multi-step workflows end-to-end. These are agents that customers can hand a task to and trust will be completed reliably—closing the gap between promising prototypes and production systems that boards and executive leadership depend on.
Key responsibilities include:
- Embedding directly with major enterprise customers (global banks, regulated corporates) across EU and US, sitting with internal audit teams, risk functions, and compliance professionals
- Conducting discovery workshops to understand complex governance and compliance environments
- Reading and debugging failing agent traces to diagnose production issues
- Translating customer requirements into production-grade agentic solutions
- Building agents that handle complex, regulated workflows with high reliability and auditability
- Collaborating with product and platform teams to improve agent capabilities
This role requires someone equally comfortable with technical debugging, customer discovery, and translating business requirements into robust AI systems. You'll be working with some of the world's most complex and regulated environments, where agent reliability and compliance are non-negotiable.
