As a Forward Deployed Engineer for Implementation Partners, you will be the technical bridge between DevRev, implementation partners, and their customers. This hybrid role combines software engineering, systems integration, applied AI, and customer-facing problem-solving to help partners design, build, deploy, and scale solutions on the DevRev platform.
You will operate at the intersection of engineering, solution architecture, partner enablement, product expertise, and delivery. Working directly with partners and customers, you'll understand requirements, scope solutions, unblock implementations, and translate complex business workflows into AI agents, integrations, automations, and vertical solutions.
Key responsibilities include owning the technical partner journey end-to-end (onboarding, enablement, certification, solutioning, implementation, adoption, and success), building reusable internal tools and frameworks, and scaling solutions across multiple implementations. You'll write production-quality code, design integrations and data flows, work with APIs and cloud infrastructure, use SQL and observability tools, and apply modern AI techniques including LLMs, RAG, function calling, and prompt engineering.
The role is split roughly 50/50 between client-facing work with external customers and partners, and internal building for internal stakeholders. You'll be the technical face of DevRev in partner and customer calls, building trust and owning technical relationships. You'll also design and develop industry-specific vertical solutions (pharma, financial services, retail) and co-build with partner product leaders. Success requires strong technical depth, ownership, presence, and comfort with AI-augmented development using tools like Claude Code and Gemini.
