As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will reinvent how Certa gets implemented by working directly with Fortune 500 teams across compliance, information security, privacy, legal, procurement, finance, and sustainability. Your role combines discovery, configuration, and delivery expertise.
Key responsibilities include: conducting discovery and design sessions to understand business processes and current workflows; mapping current state and optimizing against customer metrics like onboarding cycle time and assessment turnaround; configuring and automating workflows in Certa's no-code Studio using Vibe Configuration, including integrations and data flows; owning the full delivery lifecycle from planning through go-live and hypercare; and bringing learnings from the field back to Product to identify platform limits and create templates for future deployments.
You'll need 3+ years of customer-facing technical delivery experience (forward deployed engineering, solutions architecture, implementation consulting, or technical professional services). Required skills include REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, data mapping, scripting in Python or JavaScript, and production LLM experience. You should be product-centric, shipping-biased, comfortable with delivery methodologies (RAID logs, phase gates, SIT, UAT, regression testing), and able to communicate effectively with C-suite executives and technical stakeholders. Domain knowledge in third-party risk, procurement, or compliance is a plus.
