AirOps is a full-service platform helping brands achieve visibility and growth in the age of AI search. As consumers shift from traditional search engines to AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, the discovery landscape is being rewritten. AirOps works with enterprise clients including Ramp, Chime, Airbnb, ServiceNow, and Rippling to ensure brands are discoverable and recommended by AI agents.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be the bridge between enterprise customers and the AirOps platform. You'll work directly with leading brands to understand their AI search and growth goals, then translate those into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes. Your core responsibilities include configuring and scaling AirOps playbooks across customer accounts, monitoring performance data to identify trends and risks, and communicating recommendations to both customers and internal teams.
You'll operate at the intersection of customer needs, product capabilities, and business expansion. This means partnering cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, Sales, Growth, and Marketing teams. A critical part of your role is bringing field feedback back into the product organization to improve the platform and delivery motion as AirOps scales.
The ideal candidate has 4-7 years of experience in Growth, BizOps, Product, Technical Account Management, Analytics, Solutions, or Customer Success at a high-growth startup. You should be comfortable working directly with enterprise customers, translating business goals into execution plans, and delivering measurable outcomes. Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, or automation platforms is essential. Strong analytical skills, project management, and communication abilities are required to keep internal teams and customers aligned across multiple workstreams.
You'll thrive in a fast-moving environment where you can exercise high ownership and strong judgment. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with AI search and GEO/AEO strategy, experience with Google Search Console and GA4, and prior experience at early or growth-stage B2B SaaS companies. The company is backed by Greylock, Unusual Ventures, Wing VC, and Founder Collective, with headquarters in San Francisco, New York, and Montevideo.
