Miro's Professional Services organization is seeking a Forward Deployed Consultant specialized in manufacturing to drive AI-powered transformation for enterprise customers. You will work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology, partnering directly with C-level executives (COO, Chief Supply Chain Officer, VP Manufacturing, VP Quality) to identify high-impact opportunities and build enterprise-grade AI solutions on their data and systems.
Your core responsibilities include:
**Executive Engagement:** Partner with senior leaders to define AI transformation agendas, lead initial CxO conversations that create awareness of AI possibilities, and qualify opportunities before committing resources. You'll assess sponsor authority, organizational commitment, and account potential for multi-year, seven-figure relationships.
**Validation Sprints:** Co-author sprint charters with Account Executives defining business problems, value propositions, approaches, and exit criteria. You'll run sprints end-to-end—immersing in customer environments, prioritizing, building, and presenting solutions. You'll take apart and rebuild manufacturing processes on AI-first principles across five key workflows: new product development and gate review, quality and continuous improvement, portfolio and program management, operations and launch readiness, and process development and transformation. Solutions will leverage Miro's AI Workflows, Prototypes, Goals, Roadmaps & Delivery capabilities, extended through APIs, WebSDK, and MCP integrations into ERP, PLM, MES, and quality systems.
**Value Realization & Conversion:** Transform sprint outcomes into compelling business value stories and ROI models grounded in customer metrics (gate cycle time, requirement coverage, defect recurrence, cost of poor quality, capacity utilization, on-time launch rate, ramp-to-full-rate time). Support executives in delivering value readouts to sponsors, co-own conversion of outcomes into partnership proposals, define post-sale Professional Services scope, and package learnings for internal teams and external thought leadership.
You'll operate independently under ambiguity, travel to customer sites up to 40%, and bring both boardroom credibility and plant-floor comfort.
**Requirements:**
- 8+ years in top-tier consulting, forward deployed engineering, solution consulting, or enterprise transformation, weighted toward manufacturing and industrial environments
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operating processes: NPI and stage-gate/APQP, engineering change management, quality systems (FMEA, 8D, PPAP), S&OP and production planning, lean and continuous improvement, maintenance and reliability
- Fluency with industrial enterprise stack—ERP (SAP or equivalent), PLM (Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE), MES, quality management systems—and knowledge of where data lives
- Credibility with COO, Chief Supply Chain Officer, VP Operations, VP Quality, and Plant General Manager stakeholders
- Exceptional GenAI skills: Miro, Cursor, Claude Code and Cowork, ChatGPT, Google and Microsoft suites, MCP integrations, prompt and context engineering. Ability to build working solutions independently and orchestrate AI Engineers when needed
- Ability to build before/after value stories with financial and ROI analysis that withstands finance scrutiny
- Business-problem-first mindset with curiosity to deconstruct any process
- Self-starter operating independently and under ambiguity
- Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 40%
