Ema is building an Agentic AI platform to transform enterprise productivity by enabling organizations to delegate repetitive tasks to AI employees. Founded by former executives from Google, Coinbase, Flipkart, and Okta, the company is backed by Accel, Naspers/Prosus, Section32, and angels including Sheryl Sandberg and Dustin Moskovitz. Headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices in London, Bangalore, and Vancouver.
As a Forward Deployed Builder, you will embed inside enterprise customers and partners to identify, design, build, and implement high-value agentic automation opportunities. This is a hybrid role requiring rotational deployments across EMEA and North America—potentially six months in London, followed by six months in Bangalore, then six months in New York, depending on customer needs.
Your responsibilities include:
- Hunting for high-impact work: Sit inside customer operations, understand their real workflows, and identify processes where agentic automation creates outsized value.
- Solutioning: Transform tangled business processes into clean, streamlined agentic flows on Ema's platform. Make architecture decisions about agents, integrations, and human-in-the-loop points.
- Building demos: Create working proofs of concept that demonstrate undeniable value. For partner deployments, these become customer showcases.
- Winning technical conversations: Own technical objections, read the room, and prove the solution works to close deals.
- Implementation: Turn won deals into live, production agentic workflows that customers trust and adopt. You own outcomes from first conversation through real usage.
You are a composite professional—part engineer, part product manager, part solutions architect, part salesperson. You need to be technical enough to write code and build real demos; persuasive enough to tell a compelling story; product-minded enough to see elegant solutions in chaos; and AI-first in your approach to drive outsized impact.
Ideal candidates include management consultants who code, product managers tired of owning silos, engineers ready to leave Jira backlogs behind, ex-founders seeking operational freedom, or wildcards with proven delivery skills. This role offers the chance to master agentic AI deployment playbooks being written right now, across two continents, and emerge as one of the most capable operators in the agentic world.
