Salary: USD 100,000 - 141,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion. The Maneuver Dominance team develops multi-asset autonomous systems leveraging platforms like Ghost and Altius, integrated into Anduril's Lattice OS command and control ecosystem. As a UAS Flight Test Engineer, you will plan, execute, and report on developmental and operational flight test and evaluation (T&E) activities for Group 3 unmanned aerial systems. You'll work alongside engineers and test specialists managing test coordination across the US, UK, and Europe under both civil and military approval schemes. Key responsibilities include conducting rigorous testing and evaluation of Group 3 UAS to ensure performance and reliability; deploying to remote test sites within the US with opportunities to support overseas trials; participating in weekly stand-ups and providing progress reports to program leadership; developing and executing focused test plans for internal and customer trials; developing and implementing baseline safety plans to mitigate testing risks; and communicating effectively across teams. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field; 2-5+ years of experience in UAS integration, testing, and project management; willingness to travel >75% to remote locations domestically and internationally; understanding of National Airspace System and UAS regulations; practical experience with large UAS testing and development; strong grasp of engineering principles; excellent organizational and documentation skills; familiarity with rotary-wing and fixed-wing aerodynamics and flight control systems; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivation and ability to work independently and in teams; flexibility for extended hours; FAA Part 107 certificate; and eligibility to obtain and maintain active U.S. Top Secret security clearance. Preferred qualifications include advanced degree in engineering, robotics, computer science, or related field, and hands-on experience with complex and autonomous UAS.
