The Financial Crime Operations team is at the forefront of Revolut's efforts to keep customers and their money safe. As a Financial Crime Team Lead (External Enquiries), you will manage and lead a team of External Enquiry Analysts, ensuring they operate at peak quality performance while handling customer and agent issues with speed and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and leading a team of employees
- Communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to the team
- Motivating team members and assessing their performance
- Assisting management with hiring, training, and providing regular performance updates
- Communicating concerns and policies between management and team members
- Identifying process and procedure optimization opportunities
- Meeting company SLAs
- Acting as the point of contact for internal and external escalations
You will work directly with customers to resolve issues and flag potential concerns, using cutting-edge technology and sharp attention to detail to prevent financial crime and maintain trust at the core of Revolut.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (required)
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- 1+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ full-time employees
- Relevant experience in AML, compliance, or card disputes
- Familiarity with AML and sanctions regulations (JMLSG, ML regulations, OFAC, POCA, etc.)
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
- Solid understanding of the interplay between legal and business risk
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, outside counsel, and regulators
- Practical knowledge of SQL
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability
